MISSION
The Sacred Site Foundation of South Africa (SSFoSA) is to be a vehicle to advise, research, protect, develop and raise consciousness regarding the prehistoric sacred sites of South Africa and thereby promote our indigenous knowledge, spirit and wisdom through an authentic, heartfelt honouring and respect of these sacred places of the ancients.
VISION
To be a collection of people of varied skill, expertise and perspectives, mindful of and dedicated to upholding the sacredness of the task set to consciously and respectfully stop the desecration of sacred sites in South Africa. To research, protect and develop already endangered high-impact sacred sites to a standard we all can be proud of and to achieve this by including all stakeholders academic, religious, spiritual and cultural, thus forming a sustainable infrastructure that creates ongoing jobs in the Arts and Cultural Heritage Tourism and Conservation sectors in South Africa. In so doing, we honour and uplift the spirit of South Africa and its people.
Dean Liprini, South African independent Archeo Astronomer/Researcher/Author/Geomancer, is the Re-discoverer of the Sacred Sunpath Sites and is founder of the Sacred Site Foundation. He has spent more than 20 years researching the Sacred Sites of the Ancients at the Southern Tip of Africa, where the Two Great Primal Oceans of the Atlantic and Indian Waters Unite.
Here he has found an extensive network of Sacred Stones, Springs and and Ancient Burial Caves, woven together across more than 700 km to form a “Light Grid” an Ancient Celestial calendar, defined by the cardinal directions of the Sunrise and Sunset of the Summer and Winter Solstices and the Equinoxes and a lot more…
Dean has explored not only the various physical Academic Sciences, Archeology, Astronomy, Geology, Geography and History… but also the Sacred Geometries, Spiritual and Metaphysical Healing aspects Enshrined within these Sacred Sites.
Sunpath Sacred Sites, is in association with the Sacred Site Foundation of SA and offers one of a kind experiences around the Cape the Peninsula and South Africa. We visit burial caves, rock art sites and the mysterious Sun & Moon shrines of the ancient Cape People, a percentage of profits from all Events are fed back into the Sacred Site Foundation
Come explore the Great Nature and Spirit enshrined in these sacred sites as we raise the level of awareness and help prevent further uncontrolled “desecration” of these sacred places. Journeys & Experiences are co-created with special facilitators (not tour guides!!) to help you on this spiritual adventure, whether one hour, one day or week – children are most welcome!
